Our farm used to be the biggest one in Dolní Radíkov. German speaking owners founded it more than 300 years ago. The quiet life of the farm was disrupted by the war in 1938. After the war the history of our farm became even more dramatic. In 1958 the farm was “nationalised” and given to a national administrator. Till 1995 the buildings were only falling into disrepair. It was this year that we bought the farm from owners who acquired it in restitution after 1989. Since then we have been trying to bring it back to its original condition. In part of the house we have created a small guesthouse, which we call “Národní výbor” (National Council). This name has its roots in the history of the farm. In part of the building resided the so called “Revolutionary National Council” for a short time in 1948.

The whole farm has a square shape. Especially families with children will find very convenient the closed grassy courtyard, garden with a fireplace, trampoline and swing. Children enjoy feeding our sheep and will surely enjoy our new horse as well. Close by we have a small pond, where you can even catch some fish (if there is any left over from the otters) .
